I like building software for people who build software. For the last decade I've been starting companies that turn messy, manual workflows into tools that disappear into the background.
With Avocode we helped product teams close the gap between design files and the code that ships. It taught me how much leverage good DX gives a small team — and how painful bad DX is when you're a customer of it. Langtail applies the same instinct to LLMs: the tests, evals, and observability teams expect from any production system, for prompts.
Macaly is where most of my time goes now. The vision is simple: take 20+ years of hard-won best practices for building good software, and package them into a stack a non-technical person can actually drive — cherry-picked SaaS services wired together, so "I have an idea" turns into a real, working app without writing a line of code.
